Personal Testimony

 This trip brought about many challenges. It seemed like everything that could possibly go wrong went wrong and more! Never in my life have I experienced such a long succession of bad luck, but I knew everything happens for a reason, especially when you do God's work. It had never been so apparent in my life that Satan was doing everything in his power to discourage me and sour my thoughts on mission work, since this was the first time I've been involved in true mission work. It was nice to know that I was doing something right by helping others. This was confirmed by how hard Satan was trying to discourage my overall view of this mission trip.

I hope no one saw the unfortunate events as horrible, but as a sign that we were truly needed there to do God's work. Going to Africa was an experience I'll never forget, and I recommend that everyone go if they ever get a chance. It will give you a completely different perspective on life and help strengthen your faith in Christ. In America we often have everything we need, so the need of Christ falters behind. Personally, this trip helped strengthen my faith in God and gave me a better outlook on the meaning of my life on earth.
